I am trying to set up a computer with both admin and limited accounts, and a
program based in MS Access installed under the admin account works just fine.
But when in the limited account and trying to run the .mdb file it comes up
with "read only" and cannot access the database. I know that in W2K there is
security settings as to who can run the file, but is there the same for XP.

Hi,

Yes, there are security settings, but you may be confusing policies with
permissions. What you are encountering is a permissions issue, you need to
give the limited account read & execute, and possibly write permissions on
the involved files for the program to work correctly.
