Limit on number of fields in form

I imported data from an Excel spreadsheet (survey data) and wanted to create
a form to make future input of data easier. However, the wizard says I have
too many fields and therefore the form cannot be created.

1. What is the limit on the number of fields?
2. What is the suggestion of dealing with the input of data, i.e. I need all
those fields filled, is there a way of having subforms? [I'm relatively new
to this]

Access Help is useful if you take the time to look there.

Specifications + Access Specifications + Tables

If you need that many fields in one table your database structure is
most likely grossly un-normalized.
