Limit number of words a user can type in a text form field?

Does anyone know how I can limit the number of words a user can type in a
text form field? I made a template, but I can't figure out how to limit the
number of words a user can type in a text form field.

The number of characters can be specified in the Form Field Options, but
this won't prevent users from pressing Enter. If you want to limit input to
a certain number of lines, put the form field in a table cell with Exact
height.
