Limit Application to a Single Instance

I am attempting to limit an application so that the user cannot open a
second instance of the application. Any clues? Thanks,

this shows a mutex version that is also Terminal server compatible

Thanks to all of you. I've yet to implement a MUTEX function, but from the
responses you have provided I'm sure that it will plug another hole in my
knowledge of VB .Net.
