Hello

Anyone here knows how to block limewire using a Dlink Di-624, wue have 8 pc
running with this router and would like to make sur that nobody in the red
will use

you would have to open ports on the router to have it work properly ...so if
they are using it ..its not very good..

check the router log for instances of much traffic from a single computer
 
Thanks but I want to stop the use of the soft not to see who is using it,
the pc here are not assign to a single user

Limewire can use numerous ports for communication so you are looking that
this problem backwards.

Get the router manual and configure the firewall to only let through ports
you need to let through and nothing else.

You don't appear to use group policy or have a domain controller but you can
create very limited accounts for the users so each has to sign on as
themselves and just make it impossible for anyone other than an
administrator to install programs.
