On my way home last nite on the A55 3am in morning what happens

Bang laser speed gun... F***

Never ever in years of going down that section of the a55 have i seen a police car parked there! And 3am cooome on!

That section is 50mph chatting away to me mate, didnt realise how fast i was going till i saw him ask me to pull over

I suppose the law is the law, but at 3am the danger aspect is so much lower than say rush hour - trouble is they know its easy at that time and its all about performance figures, government targets and money generation these days I'm afraid.

My own fault I guess I was careless. He said if i was going 1mph more he wouldnt even be giving me a ticket it would hav been worse

Getting 3 points on my licence did little, when i got to 6 it did.
I went everywhere obeying the speed limit, in fact i still do.

TriplexDread take it in your stride and learn from it, i did.
So if your behind a RangeRover obeying the speed limit it could be be me

You should be down here, if you get caught doing 15mph over the limit its an automatic 1 month off the roads. Under 15mph and they consider your past record.

With a maximum speed of 35mph there's not too much room for manoeuvre

Don't get done for Drink Driving though - £500 minimum fine and 3 Years off the road (For the first offence!)
