About:
Lie is a text editor specially made for Java coders. It features the
ability to edit, save, and load buffers, work with multiple buffers at
the same time, an email client for quickly mailing text files to others,
A Java/C++ method wizard, Java compiling, a file tab with a file manager,
a Javadoc generation GUI, a built-in mini Web browser to browse the Java
API, and spell checking in Swedish and English.
Changes:
A private TextArea widget based on JTextArea was made. Text highlighting
was removed until the new jEdit textarea is finished. Keybindings now
work. JavaDocGui, ConsoleGui, and FileTab work with the new textarea. The
template system was removed. More logical keybindings are used. The Escape
key closes all dialogs. A toolbar was added. The icons for the toolbar
were fixed. A popup menu was added. Tooltips were added to the main menu.
The dictionary for spellchecking can be changed. The icons for FileTab
were fixed. A new template system was created. A resource browser with
links to lie docs, lie news, and Java API reference was added.
