Yes, you will be able to use Vista again, but you will have to telephone to
get the licenses reactivated if they are OEM or Retail Vista licenses.

Nope, not with vista.

I see. MS is trusting their paying customers less and less it seems.

True. While I really like Vista (and XP), this is the one place where I
don't agree with copy protection. Same with CD's and such... They are
punishing the legitimate consumer. The pirates can circumvent the copy
protection, it makes it a real hastle for the legit user.

That's just my opinion, though. I know that the lawyers and such are in
control of a lot of the programmers and stuff. I pay for my software and
hardware, and I know piracy is an issue. But, the pirates still crack
the software, and the copy protection only seems to piss off the little
guys...

When you consider that MS made billions and billions of dollars before
XP came out with their anti consumer flawed "anti piracy" programs, the
point about piracy is absurd.

The music industry is finally waking up and selling DRM free MP3s to
download. When will MS and the other Big Software Boys wake up and smell
the coffee?

What costs more, the bad PR that these "anti piracy" programs cause
coupled with the cost of writing the programs, keeping servers to
activate and the activation seats in India and Morocco or the small
amount of "casual copying"?

I can tell you that the main reason I am leaving Windows for Ubuntu is
this so-called anti piracy crap.
