Licensing in Dot Net

I want to implement Licensing in .Net. The program will
run only if valid license is there. I want to do this by
writing some values in Registry, and program will check
those values whenever the program runs and will run only
if valid license is there.
 
Why would I want to make my application look like a fags handbag?

Theming is up to the OS, not the application.

Skinning is part of the OS; not the application. Go play with yer winamp
crapola elsewhere. Thats why Linux cant be taken seriously on the desktop,
its the fags handbag of UIs.
