My Win Media Player 10 can not find the licenses to play downloaded MSN music
.. How do you obtain these licenses if thet are lost ?. I have done everything
to "restore" these to no avail. The system can not find these licenses. At
one time I could play these music files.

If you haven't backed them up, then I think you have to contact MSN Music
support.

Had to contact Technical Support, received detailed list of how to rename and
restore licenses. It required opening Tools menu for Manage Licenses item.
Suggest an hour of no distractions! Coffee helps. Now I always backup DRM to
CD! Less stress, more music energy.

I have been dealing with MSN Music Download Tech Support through e-mails.
They don't have phone support...just a chat room or what I described above.
Nothing works yet. Found a download from MSN that locates your MSN music
files and fixes the license problem. Still can't get past that can not find
license window. Lets see...MSN Music ceases to exist 11/14/06. I wonder what
or who I deal with to get my 500 plus music files to open and play.

I have the same problem. Note, DO NOT back up music files in "Windows One
Care" and expect to retreive. #1 Do not ever download "Windows Live One
Care", you will never be able to uninstall it. I am currently trying to
retrive "Hundreds" of dollars of MSN purchaced music, from MSN. Because
Windows Player 11, will not except the "Windows Live ****care", backup on CD
files, and load them into a new PC. If you are able to purchace and download
songs using whatever Windows Player you have, you had better burn them ASAP
to CD. Because MSN Music, well now URGE, will give you a headache, that will
make you think your head will explode. Try the help sections if you have
about 10 hours of nothing better to do. Or pay some $$$ to MSN Music tech.
support for what is already paid for. What a complete cluster blank joke MSN
Music has turned out to be. I get messages like I have more than six
computers, and stupid others etc. etc. Ba Hum Bug to Microsoft MSN Music!

over $500 of MSN music that can't play...can't find or be
re-licensed....can't be authorized. Just wma files sitting in a folder and in
the library of my Win 10 Player.
