Can anyone tell me how i can get multiple licences for one
windows xp program. I don't want to but 4 xp operating
systems. I just want to buy 3 additionl licences

You can buy additional licenses from Microsoft, but it is probably just as
cheap to buy the complete XP package from a discount store. The additional
license is only about 15% less than the full retail price, and I have seen
sales at discount stores with prices that low.

Yes you can buy extra licenses (see
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/pro/howtobuy/addlic.asp). But
it's not generally a good deal. The problem is that Microsoft
sells additional licenses at only a small savings over the list
price. You're almost certainly better off just buying a complete
extra copies from a discount source.

I haven't read the agreements lately, but I ISTR from older versions
of Windows that you could not resell "extra" licenses. Is that still the
case?
