Ican not see the Icons for Lexmark z53 nor see the
cartridges with how much ink is left.
Earlier when i had Microsoft Windows 98 it worked without
problems,but now i have Windows XP.
Please help me as soon as posible.

Generic XP drivers will get your printer working but may not display all of
the tolls available on the original Lexmark installation cd.. go to the
Lexmark site and see if Lexmark have now released them for use in XP..

Mike is right, go to the Lexmark Support site and download the latest
Lexmark drivers. Here is the link for the US site.
Now if I can get an answer for the DOS Pgms question from somebody

The extra functionality may have been removed in Windows XP.
It seems you get the driver to print but nothing else.
Newer printers may have this functionality....
