Don't bother my English, I'm a simple soul from Holland. But with a
printingproblem. Who can help me out?
Anyone any idea what to do if this printer seems to do everything right, but
forgets to put ink on the paper. Enough ink in the cartridges. Cleaned
(automaticly as manualy) and aligned and read the problemshooter Windows XP.
Nothing helped. Testprint didn't work. Problems began with installing a
flatbadscanner (Plustec 12000P) on the same LPT1. For a moment the printer
was acting strange (before the driver of the scanner was installed, but
after the scanner was connected) like it was scanning itself! (" printheads"
very slowly moving to the left and then to the right). After that the
printer acted this way. Even when I disconnected the scanner, which worked
fine by the way.
Please, who can help me or show me the way?

Probably the best solution is to completely un install the Lexmark
drivers and all Lexmark software as well as the Plustek software,
reboot your computer and reinstall. I think perhaps you should
re-read the documentation for your scanner. I may not be correct in
this, but it seems to me that the scanner software/drivers have to be
installed before you physically connect the scanner. Perhaps someone
with more knowledge of the Plustek scanner can help in that regard.

Best of luck
