Lexmark Z11 problems

I have a Lexmark Z11 printer. Recently it has started exhibiting some
strange behavior.
When printing,it will print 4 lines,each just slightly below the next. This
results in text htat looks "fuzzy".
Thishappensonly when printingwith the black cartridge. It works fine with
the colr cartridge. I even tried a new cartridge with the same result.
Anyone know what it is and how to fixit?
