Printer won't turn off when pressing off button on it. Also it has an error
message of Carrier stall. I've checked Lexmark website and forums, tried
their solutions to no avail. Any help would be appreciated

Lexmark printers are designed to be turned off by pushing them off a
cliff and then go buy either a Canon, HP or Epson. These are real
printers for cool cats. If you print photos then the best value is a
Canon IP4000.

Sorry, I don't mean to be glib, but it's a Lexmark, what do you expect?!
Hassle free, quality printing?! Don't make me - and the rest of this group -
laugh! There is no such thing as a quality Lexmark inkjet or MFD (I can't
speak for their lasers, having never used one, though they're supposed to be
better than their inkjets!)

I agree with you, it is my hubby's printer, he doesn't do photo printing,
just text and scan documents, photocopying documents. I use HP on my own
computer, works great :)

The lasers (and I have used them are 100% better). Of course that just
elevates them from total crap to "I'm in a hurry and if that's all
you've got...".
