lexmark x125 all in one

my lexmark x125 works fine ,but after about 24 hours it goes offline and I
can not get to comunicate unless I reboot my computer. the incon at the
bottom of the page changes from a diamond to an X when its offline.
Contacted Lexmark and they said to update my usb drivers. Went to Intel
online they tell me to go to Microsoft to get updates. can't find anything
that helps me using a HP pavallion with windows XP sp2.--

Check in Device Manager under the USB Controllers. It looks like they are
set to hibernate to save power. Disable this feature.

went into device manager, USB controllers,when through each one on the list
.. all i can find is in the power management it said check this to allow this
device to turn off to save energy. none of them are checked to turn off
automatically. is there any other places i should be looking.
