Lexmark 5150

Just purchased a Lexmark 5150. Two days out of the box, I'm getting "low
ink warning" on bootup. Any suggestions? I know the ink level is fine,
only printed about five pages of text since installing the printer. Thanks.

Get some new ink carts, the ones that came with it were not full

Thanks, that's probably the case. Would this still happen even when the ink
level icons report them as full?

No sweat. Reinstall the carts and lie to the firmware,
tell it the carts are new. When you do that it resets its
dot counts for that cart.

At some point you really will run out of ink, but you'll
know it from the printout or the nozzle tests or the
cleaning page.
