Letter spacing doesnt work like it should

Suddenly, in my work documents, in some places the letters are cramping
eachother, i.e. theres not enough space between adjacent letters. I can´t
find any reason for this. Text type used is Times New Roman.

The crowding of the characters appear both on the screen and on the printed
document.

In these areas check Format, Font, Character Spacing. You may have picked up
a Condensed setting.

Thanks for the tip. I will look into that.

I am a bit embarrassed, because whatever it was, it fixed itself by
restarting the computer and reopening Word. Isnt that what you are supposed
to do BEFORE you read the manual, which you then do before you ask for
support??
