Should have fixed Windows 3 and DOS before attempting
anything else.
Windows XP is nothing more than Windows 98 with add ons
that are available as freeware.

A childish interface.

Badly designed.

Needs more and more fixes.

Security is a joke.

Worth $49.95AUD instead of nearly $500AUD

Bit of a lemon

Nothing has changed in all these years.

Well, I don't doubt that it seems that way to you, and you are entitled to
your opinion. However, there is a lot of added functionality, and, as you
get older, you will appreciate the graphic changes. But if you are talking
about Australian Dollars, you DID pay too much! I paid less than AU$200 for
an OEM, and you could have also, over the Web.

.actually xp is nothing more than windows 2000 with a
bunch of free consumer oriented software.

certainly these are frustrating times with the
viruses, but if you or anybody else built a better os
everybody would be using it so,shutup or putup something
better.

talk is cheap, and griping is universal,do something
meaningful or shutup.

dont come back with linux or unix being better they are
not more secure and are unfriendly and difficult to
configure and use. mac osx is also no better albeit
maybe not much worse either.

You would think that after all these years you would have learned how to use
a computer.

So you know nothing about it. In which case refrain from comment.
