I just signed up with a local on-call computer repair shop that dispatches
techs (like me) to places needing help for quick fixes (p/t work).
I was given four CDs, three of which I ask this group if said CDs are
legit:
1. "Windows XP Professional, Home Edition 6in1 CD (English Version) by
Won-ju Kim"
2. Office System 2003 Professional Edition All-in-one by Kemosabe version
1.0
- This includes two volume license keys in a _serial.txt file
3. Windows PreInstall Environment 3in1 with Utilities
"Michael Au-Yeung's Multi-Boot CD" Super Windows PE 2003 Multi-Bootable
CD" which appears to be Linux-based with a Bluebox Linux-like window
manager when selected.
I've never seen "Genuine" CDs with people's names or handles, or the
3-in-1 or 6-in-1 disks, which makes me think they might be wares.
Insights?
Thanks.
