I'm new to using Outlook as my calendar. The first thing that jumps out at me
is that Appointments I schedule in the calendar for a given day that don't
have a specific time ("All day event") are center-aligned (regardless of day,
week or month view). I'm wondering if there's a way to get these to be
left-aligned instead.
When using a different scheduling program in the past I developed the bad
habit of putting too many "Task" type things in the calendar as an
Appointment or meeting. I will be trying to improve my practices there.
Things that "really should be done today but can be put off until tomorrow"
probably don't belong in the calendar as an appointment anyway... I presume.
And I expect experienced business-oriented users will advise me accordingly
and suggest I use Tasks a lot more than appointments for that kind of
thing... correct??? So, maybe this alignment thing is fine the way it is...
it will help remind me to use Tasks more and will allow genuine all-day
"appointments" to stand out as being just that.
So, what was my question again?
Uh, comments on all of the above will be greatly appreciated. I'm a very
busy CEO of a small, fast-growing company and help with this will be hugely
appreciated... even if this IS really just a simple post about text
alignment... until I get to more subjective posts on how best to use
different approaches later... or did I just post such a question now?
THANKS!
