leaving copies on the server

We are running a Windows 2003 network, and using Outlook
2003 with that. Here is the problem, the boss wants to
pull everyone's email from our ISP as well as her own, so
she has had us set the email settings to leave a copy on
the server for 5 days. Now she wants to only receive one
copy of the same messege on her computer. I've looked all
over the Outlook options and cannot find a setting that
would only download one copy of a messege. Can anyone
help with this or is it a dead duck situation?
Thank You

She can't have it both ways. However, sperrysoftware.com has some tools
that will eliminate duplicates. They're not expensive.
