Leaving a copy of messages on server

Our company uses Outlook with Pop3 with a 3rd Party
Server host.

Could you tell me, in Outlook 97, under the E-mail
properties, Advanced tab, under Delivery, if "Leave
a copy opf message on server" is not selected, does
that mean that once the mail is delivered to the user's
..pst file on their hard drive, a copy is not retained
on the host server?
