LEAVE MAIL ON SERVER

In Outlook 2003 using MSExchange Server, when I sign in to my Office server,
from my home laptop, all of my email is sucked off the Server permanently,
and placed on my laptop. there is no box to check "leave mail on server".
One writer suggested that I make my Exchange Mailbox my Delivery location.
If that will fix it, how do I do that?

Using OL 2003, and MS Exch. Servedr, how do I keep it from sucking all of my
email off of the Server, when I sign in from my home VPN?

You can set the delivery location here: Tools menu > Email Accounts >
View/Change existing accounts. There should be a dropdown for "Deliver new
mail to the following location".

You'll probably want to setup an Offline Folder file also so you can keep
access to your mailbox while offline. There's more info here:

Thank you. I have only two choices: Exchange Server Mailbox and Personal
Folder. It sucks the email off of my server permanently, when I access my
OL2003 email from my home VPN, no matter which "delivery" location I use.
How can I keep my home laptop (OL2003) from sucking all of my email off of my
office MS Exchange Server, when I connect using VPN? Thank you.

Do you ever go into the office? That would be the best place to setup the
offline folder. That's a synchronized copy of your mailbox not a download &
delete. Not sure why your machine is downloading & deleting things if you're
using your mailbox as the delivery location but maybe se can figure it out.
