Hey everyone! I'm trying to generate a least-squares fit to some noisy data using a gaussian function. I'm accustomed to using a linear transfer function to derive this fit, as in probit analysis (ogive curve). Can I use a similar process to obtain a gaussian curve? If you need more information I'd be happy to provide it. Thanks in advance, any help is appreciated.
