Learning VB for Access 2003

I would like to learn how to create applications using Access 2003. I know
how to create basic tables, queries and forms using wizards. Reading the
posts makes it appear as if learning how to customize with VB is an
overwhelming endeavor for someone like myself who has little programming
experience. Can someone suggest where I should start...a beginner's guide to
VB Access, if there is such a book?

Try John Viescas' Microsoft Office ACCESS 2003: Inside Out.

Also John's Building Microsoft ACCESS Applications.

You can also try:

Author: Smith & Sussman
Tile: Beginning Access {version} VBA
Publisher: WROX.

I am not sure whether there is a 2003 version of this book ...

There is an Access 2003 edition, but it is not written by the same authors.
I haven't read the Access 2003 edition, so I can't say if it is better or
worse than the Smith & Sussman editions, only that it is likely to be
different! :)
