leading and trailing space

I need to delete the trailing space in a report after CITY (i.e. City,
State, Zip) for a report. I have tried TRIM([CITY]) but it is not working,
maybe I am putting it in the wrong place?...help!
Thanks!

Tell us where you're trying to use it. Are you sure it's a blank space, and
not a carriage return/line feed combination, that you need to delete?

I have City, State & Zip as separate fields. I am trying to print a report
that will print the City, State, Zip as (Any City, State 00000)
