LDAP Query

Hi All,
Does anyone know how i can use LDAP queries to find
information like file permissions(effective) and/or
ownership?
or even is there a different way to do so?
Additionally i'd like to find the Object Destinguished
Name of the users and not just the user name.

You can use LDP to find the DN of am object.
