LDAP and Schema changes requirement

I have the following requirement for which I need to
enable and configure LDAP service.

I have a requirement from my client to have single sign-on
feature to login to windows 2003 and access SAP portal
running on HPUX.

Kindly advise me how to turn on and configure LDAP service
on Windows 2003. In order to modify default Schema to
configure LDAP service.

Your help is much appreciated.
