.LCK file

I don't know if this is the place I should post this but
I'm having an issue with my Access 2002 database. It
appears that a user was in the database and had computer
problems; so now there's a .LCK file on my database, the
database says it needs to be repaired before anyone can go
in it, and I can't get rid of the .LCK file to do the
repair. I am able to copy the database to a different
name and do the repair that way and everything looks
alright but how can I do a repair on a database with
a .LCK file??

Access doesn't create .LCK files. Do you perhaps mean an .LDB file?

If no one is using the database, you should be able to delete the LDB file.
If you can't, you may need to reboot to free the connection.
