LCD recommendation

I am in the process of getting a replacement 17" LCD from Newegg. The last
one I got was no good and obviously not a good company. Newegg is going to be
emailing me soon on a comparable replacement.

Anyone know of any reputable companies who put out a good LCD monitor?

Thanks.

There are lots of good quality LCD monitors on the market, but getting a dud
is always possible.

Look for a reasonable response time (the lower the # the better), high
contrast ratio and perhaps with a big company behind it.
Here's one to consider - a widescreen model that sells for about $200.

It's hard to answer that question since you don't tell us what type of
work/play you do on your computer and your price range. That said, I
have two Samsung 19" 930b monitors that work great for my gamer sons.

I have a 17" Neovo that works great for their non-gamer mom (me).
