Display Adjust:
How do I keep the display to stay the way I adjust it? I tried to reset it
but it does it again every second time I reset the display settings. Each
time I turn it on there's an 'Auto Tuning' and the screen is partly move to
the right.

The Screen Itself:
I use those soft tissues slightly moist in water. One time I slipped then
this streak appeared and can be seen if there is light. Is there a way to
undo that?

Even tap water can be harsh to an LCD screen. Go out and buy a special LCD
cleaner and some lint-free cloths. It should (hopefully) take out that
streaking.

Some monitors require that you save the adjustments made it the settings. If
there isn't an option to save your settings, I wouldn't rule out the
possibility that there's a defect in your monitor.

I can't find a save settings option and what's ViewSonic?

What manufacterer made your monitor? Once you figure that out, go to
their web site, and RTFM!

If you don't know what RTFM means, then Google it.

If you don't know how to access the web site of your monitor
manufacterer, then Google it too.

Your problem has NOTHING to do with WinXP, only your ignorance.
