Does using layers in FP2003 cause any display problems in different
browsers/resolutions the way absolute positioning used to?
Thanks for taking the time to answer,

A layer is a layer and absolute positioning is absolute
positioning. The browser and/or resolution still controls
how the html is interpretted and displayed. Using a new
version of any page builder won't change that.

If you position your "layers" (divs) with absolute positioning, yes.
