Hi, When I want to launch an email from my contact info, I get notified that
MS Exchange Server is offline and asks to connect. I have a POP account and
see no settings or options that would lead Windows Mail to think there is an
Exchange Server. Any help would be appreciated.

UPDATE:

I discovered that this was happening because of Outlook 2003 install. I
removed the app and now when clicking on an email address in Contacts, I get
an "Application Not Found" message.

Make sure Windows Mail has all its defaults.
Open the Default Programs applet, which you can access either from
the Start menu or via the Control Panel, then click the first item:
"Set your default programs."
After a few seconds, a list of programs comes up. Click on "Windows
Mail". If it doesn't respond with "This program has all its defaults"
then fix it by clicking on the option indicated by the first green arrow.

That's typical when Outlook has been on a computer.
See my previous response for the fix.
