Launching apps

Hello, I'm having an annoying problem with VIsta.

Whenever I launch Adobe acrobat Standard V8. Adobe starts the
application setup and I get "please wait while wondows
configures ..."

I tried to repair the app. remove and reinstall... still the same
problem.

Any help would be appreciated.

download the installer, right click it, select run as administrator
that usually allows the program to install properly
