sure path or Internet address is correct.

It does this to me every few days when I launch from the
quick launch or start menu. After I click ok it will
launch IE but it will run painfully slowly. I do a system
restore and it will be fine again for a day or two. The
only thing I can think is causing it is McAfee with some
super dat download that I keep trying to stop from
downloading.

need to visit Windows Update and install *all* the Critical Updates.
