Launch command window from task scheduler

From task scheduler I would like to launch a command window w/params and SEE
it in action. Used to be you could schedule your foo.cmd with "cmd /k
<drive>:\<path>\foo.cmd" and either watch it open and run, or check it the
next morning. How can I do this with this new and 'improved' scheduler.

Thanks,
Markus

The only way to do that is to schedule the task when the user is logged on.
The visible desktop interface for scheduled tasks is disabled when you
choose the setting to 'run whether the user is logged on or not'. If you can
run the task without entering a password, you are set to 'run the task when
the user is logged on'. I know of no way to disable that feature.
