Latest Updates Broke my Explorer

Hi All

I wondoer if someone can help me. When I started my PC this morning it
promptly told me their were security updates to install for Xp so I duely
obliged and granted it permission to download and install the updates. Apon
restarting and open explorer to scour the web I now find that when I type a
url in the address bar and press return or click 'go' nothing happens. If I
then click a link thats already on the page or select a favs it will then go
to that page and then when its finished downloading the page then go to the
link I typed in the address bar. Can anyone help me fix this? This is on
WinXp home edition with all the updates installed.

It seems it does work but it now takes over 30 seconds from pressing return
for explorer to do anything. Any help gratefully accepted

Did you reboot after the updates?
That did it for me.

Many times, ended up uninstalling the updates. Thanks though.
