What might be a good idea (although you may have this already) is if there was a section with the latest unanswered from all forums.

That could be a good idea indeed, I'm not sure how I'd go about programming it but it is something I'll consider. Would this be of use to anyone?

I have seen other forums with that option but they are a different style to this one i think.

This should now work, check the menu at the top : Forum > Forums > Unanswered Posts

This will only appear for members as it is very resource heavy I've been working on it for the past hour on a quick'n'dirty bit of code and it seems to work ok now, but I'll monitor it over the next week and see if it affects performance. I don't think it should, but I'll keep an eye on it
