latest security update disables right click

Hello. I just downloaded the latest security updates and, after rebooting, I
could not right click on files. Right clicking would clear the screen (just
a blue background- desktop is no longer visible) and shut down all open apps-
sort of like if you hit end task on explorer. Any way, I was wondering if
any one else saw the problem. Maybe this post will help some one too. Here
are the updates I downloaded (via the Update Wizard):

I have IE 6.0.2800.1106 on Windows 2000 Professional (Service pack 4 build
5.00.2195). After uninstalling the last two updates (KB841533 and KB840987),
every thing worked fine. I don't see any way to send the details to MS
support (for free). Who knows if it effects other people (this particular
desktop's a little older).

Well I'm running XP and I can still right click a file and get the
proper pop up window.

I just added the update and got my first Blue Screen of death since I
recently rebuilt this machine. So I'm a wondering if they're related.

Waiting to see....

I am running Xp Pro with SP2, and recently got an update notice for KB834707.
Installed it, and the next day IE6 forgot all of the window sizing for my
favorites. The rest of windows sizing is OK. I did a system restore, and
rolled back to the set point before the hotfix, and everything was fine.
Yesterday, two days later, I reinstalled KB 834707, and now IE6 has just
forgotten my window sizing again, so I will roll back once more, and forget
the patch until Microsoft solves the problem. Or can anyone suggest a fix?
Thank you.

Forget the System Restore.

First, *close all other windows*. Now, grab the corners of the window
and drag it to full screen size. Close the window using File>Close,
or File>Exit depending what program you're in. Windows will remember
the last screen size used the next time you open the program.

Do it for one of your bookmarked sites, and it should be good for
them all.
