I have a database to keep track of repairs on some equipment. For
simplicity, lets say its of the form

Equipment # Item Repair Date
1 Pump Rebuild 6/4/03
1 Pump Rebuild 9/7/03
1 Controller Install new 4/3/04
1 Gizmo Adjust 6/12/04
2 Gizmo Adjust 5/2/04
2 Gizmo Modify 6/3/04

etc.
I may not have every item for every piece of equipment and I may or
may not have a given Item for a given piece of equipment multiple
times (like the pump for #1). I would like a query that only shows me
the most recent repair for each Item for each piece of equipment. So,
for example, it would return:
1 Pump Rebuild 9/7/03
1 Controller Installl new 4/3/04
1 Gizmo Adjust 6/12/04
2 Gizmo Modify 6/3/04

I'm sure this is a dumb question, but I would appreciate any help.
