"Last Saved By" doesn't show up

On the Statistics tab for Properties in Word 2003, the "last saved by" is
always blank. Does anyone know why / how to fix it?
 
What name do you have in the Name field of Tools | Options | User
Information?

It is blank. Our technology guys set up our new computers and must have left
that out. If that field was filled in on everyone's computer, would that
solve the problem?
