Last available column in Excel 2007?

I have just taken over a spreadsheet from a coworker. They have reached the
last column in Excel 2003. I have saved it on my computer in Excel 2007, how
do I add columns. I know the basics of Excel, but am FAR from knowing it
all. Any help would be greatly appreciate. Thanks, Janet
 
Janet, when you saved it in Excel 2007, did you Save As the 2007 format? If
so, you should be able to add more columns.
