I'm working on a large document - over 700 pages - at
work. Is it possible to have just one doc? It has over
400 graphics, and needs a TOC. Do I need to split this
up? We have Word 2002 running on XP Professional. Is
there another program that's better for this type of
thing?

Word will handle huge documents. This one shouldn't be a problem. Splitting
it will only make it more difficult to manage.
Some would argue that DTP applications are better for huge books.
