Large database

I am using ACT2008 and have a large database (40K contacts) and 3 total users
(2 remote using RDP). ACT responds very slowiy even through we've upgraded
our server and memory.

We are considering changing to BCM.

Has anyone out there has experience with a database this large in BCM?

I've had experience with a database that large. Are you using Remote
Desktop because you don't want your data synchronized to the outside users?
Giving them an offline copy of BCM would give you all better response but
they would have a copy of your database on their hard drive. Other than
that, BCM would work just fine.
