Laptop to PC home network

I am a Vista newbie.
Using a BT Home Hub.
How do I create an home network using a wireless laptop with Vista and a
wired PC with XP Pro?
Any advice would be appreciated.

Get Internet connectivity working on both computers.

Run the Network Setup Wizard on the XP computer.

Run the Network & Sharing Center Wizard on the Vista computer.

With PPS Enabled (Vista), and Advanced File Sharing (XP), setup and use an
identical, non-Guest account on both computers.
