Laptop on one domain accessing resources from another domain

I want my laptop to join my home domain, but still be able to access
resources at work on a different domain. I do not necessarily want to
join that domain, but want to use my home domain profile instead of
using a different local profile on the laptop.

Is this possible?

Thanks

In this case, you just create the same username with the same password in the work domain. You always logon home domain using the credentials.

This will work, the only limitation is that your authentication on the
non-member domain will only be good for the computer you authenticate to. If
everything is on the server (good practice) then no problem, but if it's a
dispersed colllection of "My Documents" folders on numerous computers, then
it will be a problem.

In that case, a possible solution is to use a batch-file with NET USE
commands to connect each resource.
