Lag Time

How do I decrease the lag time between slide transitions?
For example I may want slide #1 to be displayed for 15
seconds, and slide #2 to be displayed for 45 seconds, but
I only want 1 or 2 seconds between each slide transition.
 
Are you trying to get a particular presentation to show for the same length
of time?

Powerpoint is notoriously inconsistent with timings. Particularly the 1st
time a slideshow is shown. The 2nd time it shows...then the timings are more
reliable.

Have you set the transitions to "fast"?.
What transition are you using...It's not the "fade thru black" one is it?
