Labtop is dead, but HD is OK! Can I use SW from HD?

Hello All!
I want to relocate my "AutoRoute"!
My LabTop Computer broke down.
AutoRoute was pre-installed! (on XP)
HardDisk is OK.
How do I do?
Where do I ask?
What info is needed?

With most modern software it is not sufficient to copy
the application folder from the old to the new PC. You
have to install the product, using the installation program
that was used in the first place. Check the manufacturer's
site, the AutoRoute FAQs or try googling for "Install
AutoRoute". You will get more than 500 hits!
