Labels

So when I go to tools= envelopes and labels and select on my avery label and
hit new document it creats a new document for me to create labels, but for
some reason I cannot see the lines separating each label. The document is
formatted correctly, but its plain white, so I can't tell where each label
starts and ends. How do I view these?

Using Office Word 2003 SP 1

In Word, labels are set up as a table.
Go to Table > Show Gridlines.
